DotLoop has now given non-KW real estate Buyer Agents in the community the opportunity to make an offer on any Keller Williams listing using DotLoop.  This is a terrific innovative development!

In addition to being able to write an offer, the Buyer Agent will also have access to any pertinent documents that the KW listing agent has indicated need to be viewed and signed by the buyer. Then, once the offer and other documents are created by the Buyer Agent and signed by his buyer client, the KW agent will automatically be notified.

If you are the KW listing agent and want to invite other agents to make offers on your listings using DotLoop, follow the steps below to create a hyperlink to post onto your MLS listing under Agent Remarks.

1. Click on the completed Listing Loop.
2. When it opens and shows you the orange ‘View Original Listing Loop Summary” on the left, and the square red and blue “Increase Offers Now” box on the right, click on the red and blue box.
3. Now you will be on a page displaying  the “Forms Library” and “Forms in this Loop”. Without doing anything with those boxes, go directly down to the “Save and Continue” button. Click it.
4. This brings you to the magic page. DO NOT bother with the embedded code box. Find the “Link Address” box– this is the URL that will bring an outside Buyer Agent directly to your Listing Loop.

This full URL can be included in the MLS under Agent Remarks. However, since it may be a bit lengthy, there is an easy way to shorten the URL if you prefer.

You can put a shortcut on your desktop for http://goo.gl/ .  This is a really useful site from Google. Any time you want to shorten a URL, simply highlight the URL in the Dot Loop ’LINK bar’, copy [Ctrl C], open this Google site, and paste [Ctrl V] the long URL to Google. Google will then create a shortened URL version that you can copy/paste to the MLS or use in your emails.
